In Memory

Onyx

Onyx

Onyx's story is an example of neglect and mistreatment that no animal deserves. She was just turning three years old when Onyx died from pyometra (uterine infection) and neglect. She was not spayed, which is a risk for intact females. Her owner never brought her to the vet or sought help when Onyx stopped eating and drinking. When Hero's Heart was notified, we acted immediately but were sadly too late.

MN State Statutes 343.21  defines this as intentional cruelty.

An important part of our mission is to hold violators accountable for crimes against animals   #JUSTICE FOR ONYX
